About Raytec Agriculture Swine Division

Mr. Zimmerman, the founder of Raytec LLC has deep, personal and cultural roots in Agriculture. While growing up on the family farm, he learned that all forms of farming are hard work and sometimes with little reward. Farmers, more than almost any other industry, are faced with unique cost variables which are beyond their control. For example: livestock and crops are susceptible to diseases, government defunding/regulations, and of course unpredictable weather. The list of variables keeps growing.

Mr. Zimmerman utilized his metal craftsman skills to create and market a full line of swine scales, known in the industry as WayPig®.

Chartguard

Instant visibility of each sow’s farrowing date, litter size, mortality rate and other operating information with the Swine Chartguard information card holder. Constructed of durable non-yellowing acrylic that resists moisture and soiling, it can be mounted on the farrowing crates or other convenient location with pipe brackets.

Swine Chartguard comes in two sizes: 5½ x 8½” or 5 x 8”. Raytec’s 5×8” Record cards can be filled in with a marker and slide in and out for easy updating.

Larger 8½ x 11” ChartGuards available for the Dairy industry.

Since those early days, Raytec LLC under Mr. Zimmerman’s direction developed the CAF-CART® and most recently the Weighing CAF-CART®.

CAF-CART®

CAF-CART® features large wheels for easy maneuvering over rough terrain. The handle can be released and the cart set flat on the ground for easy loading and unloading.
